Lots of study have to be done today! Test, reading, answering, writing, critical thinking, choosing topics...you name it. Of course it does worse through my looking glass. Wished the day was yesterday. Yeah, we had a pretty good time walking down to the Health Center and took great deal of pictures. I'll post some soon. Jo was the part-time model!
Roy just informed me about Orlando Bloom planning to get married with girlfriend Kate Bosworth. Awww! She's just 21 and he's 27. Shoot! He should have his eyes on me. Beautiful she? Hm....Roy said the boops looks pretty cute, ahaks! :D Read bout him if you're interested. To those of you fans, a-ah! No harapan. http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0" title="http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0" target="_blank"http://www.sky.com/skynews/ar...,,30500-12983113,00.html
Haiya, I never got a wecko feedback from a small guy before but yesterday I did. He's Jordan the great! Bikin malu only! Me: "Jordan, tomorrow you have to show me how your submarine works ok?" Jordan: *Wink and gave me that jelingan tajam* "Yeah, it's not a submarine, it's a hovercraft!"
Woke up really early just to tell my roommate that the egg in the cafeteria might be the cause of why students got food poisoning. Serious! 4 students got food poisoning from the cafe so far and all were admitted to ML hospital. What a pity.
Now I can fully agree with our great great aunt E. G White for her many fulfilled prophesy. With bird flu and mad cow diseases? Com'on let's not stop there. The depleting of our ozone's layer, shortage of food everywhere in the world, all sorts of things that almost scares me to death. :x I don't think I can feel 100% secure living in this deteriorating mother earth. Anyway, Roy and I are determine to try and eat lots of veges and fruits only for the sake of our engines :!:
What I meant by fixing is that I basically tried to fix all my broken and spilled out stuff hehehe! I hope someone will like his kamba that I fixed otherwise 3 hours goes to a waste.
Kesian my roommate coz she bought a notebook without a modem and sound driver installed. Well, at least she was bold enough to fix the problem by calling the dealer to come at once to MC which, the guy did.
Met Roy just now and it's such a relief knowing that he didn't touch any chicky chicken this week. You know the slope down from the church to the Science building? Yeah, we sat there trying to give ourselves some romantic mood and was interrupted by my daddy's sms which he sent to both of us. How come Roy and I got the same sms message from him? -- Happy Sabbath, be cheerful!
Jaff and I were reminiscing our back then experiences in MC just now. We thought about the fund raising thingy where we washed Mr. Kachap's car, cleaned faculty's houses, sold junk foods & soft drinks, etc. We also talked bout how we used to fight against each other's opinion about our promotion trip to M'sia. Some cannot tahan and just burst out in front of everyone like trying to express their anger konon and some sempat again mengumpat each other. Haiya, Memang oh that time. Then remember the trip to Chiang Mai? I was going with this Thai guy at that time and was soo malu konon to go into his car (coz his hometown is in Chiang Mai :!: ). Lucky Abe, Kuluk and Roy was 'using' him because of his car, so I was not alone with him. Shhhhhhhh...
Ah...did you know what happened to Jaff and I at one point? Ih, better don't mention otherwise I'll spoil the present milk!
Classes were all short today because of the FOF going on. So, this malaz girl actually went back to her room and stole a nap. Not only that, but also ate half of her roommate's sandwiches in the fridge.
Sitting at the cafeteria, had a good chat with 2 Indian guys, a kadazanduzun and a chinese. Reviewing in the library, suddenly Pragash intterupted-- Pragash: (reading a marriage and family book) "Eh, kamu lepas habis terus kawin kah?" Me: "Tidaklah! Mau enjoy dulu mah..." Pragash: "Ah...jangan tunggu lama-lama, kawin baru enjoy. Buat macam saya..." Me: *giggling* "Yakah? Tapi tiada lui macam mana?" Pragash: *teasing* "Itu pelan-pelan cari, yang penting dapat kawin". Then I said to myself:"How I wish it's that easy!"
Looks like there's no way I can get away this weekend. First, dorm restrictions. Second, Ron is showing a good movie and Third, no money!
Yeah, my day was kinda a mixture of both. By the way, I was enjoying teaching the two Korean kids spelling and tenses today. When they argue, they reminded me of my childhood days when my mother used to utter "These are my monkey daughter and puppy son." Eeww, but I know why she used those words! Coz I was born on the year of the monkey and my brother, Dog! Haha! And the fact that we always or to be specific, almost everyday, fight over small and big things. Even until now, when I lost my hair brush, the first person I blame is still him. Poor Mitch...
Bah, looks like my roommy bear is waiting for me to stop so that we both can watch a tagalog movie. The actress (I only know one) is Sharon Cuneta. Heard her songs?
Grace and Doubt. That was the title of the evening session for today. I was not paying attention on the morning session. The speakers are all students, maybe that's why...
I kinda like the monk in Chaucer's Cantebury Tales. He's so careless of his faith (just like me) and maybe that's why he's so significant, just that I don't like hunting! Will read more about this hunting lover monk!
Yeah, change my tiny ten green. Ita, lend me your silver color... 8)
I didn't know that 'kamba' in Dusun is 'mainan' in Malay and 'toys' in English and 'Wan Ju' in Mandarin. Went to Lotus with Jordan's family today and he bought a big gigantic 'kamba'. Tomorrow is his birthday.
I got myself lots of cherry tomatoes, soy milk, crackers, etc. Mao lui loh, phok kai oredi loh.
Wah, the Indians in MC ada party bah konon today so the left overs dorang jual. Adakah!!! But, ehek! :) Lai Sum and I bought some chapati also and all the curry-murry stuff. Hope no curly curly hair in it lah! Haha!
The weather was really cold this morning. Roy and I stroll along the MC lonely road and took some shots with the Digi bhue. Imagine our faces and skin, as if we were undergoing the process of metamorphosis.
The message of God from Scott was inspiring and I indeed reflect...Not only that, Mark's group goes '...not I, why me, you go...' weeeeewit! so syok oh! That was the first specials that really inspired me this year.
Go Bkk? No? Go? No? Go? No? Then there's this feud between us, we didn't go, but we should have gone, but we didn't. :?
Yeah...today hari lima oredi! Classes were ok except for one busy body teacher who likes to pick on me for no reason. Lunch, crushed on soft land and cleaned room. Out of the blue Roy and I decided to go peep on how our bicycles were doing.
Roy: "Ah, masih ada angin ni." Me: "Buli lagi kah ni?" Roy: "Pelan-pelan kasi jalan, marilah pigi pom tayar."
At the maintainence building
Roy: "How to use this pom oh? Haiya, dorang buka bah tu untuk kasi pusing..." Me: "Yakah? Cari metal lah to turn it...memang we jakun oh!" *blur*
After 2 minutes of finding the tempat on, Roy noticed a red handle above the head of the gas pump.
Me: "Haiya, you this ah, takkan the tempat on pun you don't know?" Roy: "Manalah sia tau, ini bah pula *turning the red handle up*"bah...macam mana mau pom ni?" Me: "Ko tanya sia, manalah sia tau...!" hahahhahahahhahahhhahahha ha! *ceh, not funny pun!*
Not long after the bike is back to hyperactive mode, I nearly kena saman coz I parked the bike at the kawasan larangan. The security guard blowed his wissel and lots of students saw what was going on. Eeew...malunya!
"Gong Xi Fa Chai, Hong pao na lai!" That's how kids used to say every CNY. Think this will be the last year I'll bear the consequences of celebrating CNY in MC, no more!
I thought that our last sem's result was still under process, but it came out long time ago. So, I dragged my heavy heart to pick the result and Yipee! Eventhough it flunk a lil' bit, I'm still among those ulat buku figure! Shh...don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging but just happy coz that means I can register for more credits to speed up college! So far, I've earned 150 credits not including this semester. Whoah! :o Am afraid by the time I finish, it'll definitely goes up to 200. But, who cares for grades, credits, and all those book- worm stuff, there're not among my "penting" list. Life can be just as happy as it is even without! So, let's vote for procrastination and last minute study! 8)
Going to see 'sasatung' dance afterwards. Didn't do those move since I left my childhood. :D
Ten tiny winnies are in purple today! :P Did double layers on it to make it more ayu. Prepared a special begs for my cat kukus aka nail polishers and made sure all the equipment which goes with it were in, such as the acetone, cuttons and brush.
I think studying can be such fun when teacher assign 20 pages and you share the burden with your classmate - two people read 10 pages each then explain to each other the part you read and vice-versa. Such existed today between Deanna & I. Managed to grasp the overall idea but can't figure out still who killed who and who's having a feud with who.
I thought I read Switz's blog today. Rajin-rajin update bah Switz...
Happy to see Roy in campus again. Chortle lifts up till the feelers! :)
CNY in campus. Heard fireworks, but didn't took much notice  Maybe still huffy because there's no holiday for me  .
Missed getting Ang Paos from parents, auntys, uncles, grandmas and those who categorized. The last Ang Pao was from my Uncle Bee I supposed and it was $5. Mom usually add all the ang paos up for the year and packed it to the bank! Anyway, it's nice to get Ang Paos, to get money $$$$.
CNY. Rather not talk about it. Didn't manage to sit at the round table with my family and relatives for 4-5 years already since I began college. A sad thing  I remember rolling the sticky flour and boil them with ginger, yummie 'lung yen'. Then I can almost taste the sweet/salty roasted duck (like the fats), red dates, red/black kuaci, this and that. Oh, also when I was with the 'Pencaragam' band, we use to go from houses to houses to play CNY songs and most of the rich Tauke will give lots and lots of Ang Paos. Then they served 'Yeos' packed drinks and mandarin oranges. Oh, I played the flute and drum in the band. Those were the days... :)
I Wanna go home!!!!! Arggggghhhhhhhh....EEEEeeeaaaaa!
Everyone saw a zombie walked to her 8am class this morning. Classes after classes, made her eyes swell as if she exchanged eyes with a pathetic goldfish! Yalah, me lah that. Slept at 3:30am again you know!!!
Felt like doing my acrobatic move when suddenly my handphone came flying without wings thus landed on lowland. Damn! Should have put it in its beggie! It's all because of 'White Valentine' - DVD ripped off without English translation.
Eh, refrigerator is in da house. Can eat lots of ice cubes, yay yay!! 8)
Lack of sleep! Looks like sleeping time switched to after midnight. Can't help it though. :?
Traveling to Bkk again did not pleased my hungry purse. DVD player I say was not a bad excuse that I went with panda eyes on. Roy had to stay coz school starts tomorrow. Ihhh...why's my longing always has to be entertained??? :x
On the way back, had a pretty good conversation with Dr. Buschenhofen (I like to spell his surname) about degree till M'sian government recognition towards MC's cert. Stopped at Lotus with still (after 4 yrs) little surviving skills in Thai enough to purchase a fridge. No van to MC when I called but most probably the guy was trying to explain and I didn't understand. Mai pen lai, we took the bus which cost Elsye and I B20.
This is the first time I attended church this year. Haha! Always took my own day off! Not that I'm becoming a beast, but it's good to enjoy Sabbaths on your own. It's as if God is speaking louder in some ways. Caution: don't take church for granted though! :)
Paid most of my bills on sleeps this afternoon and of course read the 1st Chronicles of Narnia.Enjoyed it!
Osoko again in the evening. More blinky lights for each - Babb, Puput & Kiki. Maybe should get for Rhino & Horse too...
Not bad, this year's Osoko has improved somehow. MC is also involved. Managed to stare from among the crowd some of the performance. I'm impressed. Even though the 'luk tung' seemed blazing, the MC booth still managed to attract audience. For those of you who wants to go, there's cheap flipflops, manually turned merry-go-round, and a whole big crowd! 8)
''Why didn't I...otherwise I should have..." those questions should not bother me that much especially this year coz thank God another year to go and all the regrets of otherwise will go away. I should have known better!
I should have took the courage to wake up last nite and at least say a 'bye Heary' at 3am. Don't know what's wrong with the eyes, they grumbled too much until I can't differenciate whether its really 3am or 7am. By the time I was alert, it was already 7am-worship time! Siou Heary...
Better not comment about my classes today, otherwise...
I would like it if we could have one day set aside which then will be called 'casual day'. I consider today casual coz my uniform was off before 1pm. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!
Took off to Lotus today with Heary, Deanna, Vun and Roy. Thrilled my tastebuds with KFC rice and cherry tomato. Also got myself a last-minute 26' skirt which I think will easily slip down my number 11 cab.
I'm trying to imagine how Deanna is feeling right now. Putting myself into her situation, I think I'll pack myself inside my hubby's suitcase. Courage, take courage.
Also today, saddened by a sudden news about a friend of ours. Just married and not even weeks, she left behind a husband. All I want to do is not to look back, but learn from others. Take good care of my health and eat well, sleep well, live well.
Felt like I've been in college almost half of my life. I had a Thai friend who started college the same year as I did. she quit college for 2 years and in between got married and the outcome - a cute lil' boy. Now the boy is 2 yrs old and the mother eventually felt like studying, so she's apparently back on campus, studying. And, I'm still here!!! :x
Did you know that LOTR was partly influenced by the epic Beowulf? Yeah, guess JR Tolken was a fan of Hrotgar, the wicked Grendel, etc. My boyfriend was trying hard to convince me that LOTR is worth watching twice or thrice...but iiih! Once is enough!
Fascinated by a twin effect's pic sent by Switz. Wanna see?
I think I'm still on holiday mood. Until now I still can't put traveling, shopping, etc aside. Guess it runs through the family. Mom and Dad likes traveling a lot. Well, all of us in the family do. Dad was the one who kept on telling me about his trip with his 'orang putih' friend. They traveled around Southeast Asia way up to HK. Wow, traveling must be cheap those days huh? Envy, envy...
So, Roy and I want to have the same resolution (at least for this one), that is to go to places like the end of South, the end of East, the end of West and the end of North, then consider North East, North West, etc. We've booked NASA...
In a hurry. Felt like I was sitting in high school. One of my new lecturer reminded me of the movie "Mathilda". Yaiksss! Don't let her squick her mouth or raise her eye-brows, otherwise that means 'trouble'. Most of us in the class had gotten warnings from her, no more good tones next time! Eaaaaa :?
Rushed to the Berreau office in Bkk. Talking with Dr. Lyiandra or Lyeandra (how to spell?) was fun. She's just so friendly and funny. Finally got to know the way to the main Standard Charted building and had the chance to acknowledged that Malaysia Hotel actually existed ages ago. Even JTravel is close by. Well, what a small place after all. :)
Actually it's approaching Sabbath and I'm here in MBK with Roy, Heary and Deanna going to watch movies. Roy and I will watch 'Hunted Mansion' and the two pals wants to watch 'LOTR'. I don't feel good about this but oh...need to beg forgiveness lah...
Can't stop humming Misha Omar's Bunga-bunga Cinta, the only malay song that caught my Bronchy voice box singing besides Dilemma 2003. Dunno when my original 'bhue' voice will return from its vacation-Quite upset now tau! Ih...beginning to sound like Babb!
Oh, Vun out of the blue came to me asking "You're married kah?" I was in total blank. "Huh???" Then he blur-blur asked again "Junior said you're married, yakah?" "Ahahahhahahha... :D " Can't hold laughing! To make the story short, yesterday Roy and I happened to introduced ourselves to a MC newbie named "Junior" and I said to him "I'm 'his' wife!" So, of course he took it seriously and really believed that Roy and I were married. :0
"Baba black sheep have you any..." eh, Baba's b'day bah today! 8)
I'm trying to forget the horrible frustration months ago when suddenly my previous blog was not accessible. Re-build another one and this is it after spending hours to decide whether this site is trustworthy. Let's put it to test!
After 2 delayed days, I was finally back in class again. Aiyah, the new teacher is so 'Xiao Jie' - pretend to be elegant, sophis, firm...but I tried my best, still couldn't figure out her uttered words.
