one more...
12.15.04 (5:47 pm)   [edit]

Shooooooot! I was supposed to wake up and study for History but I didn't. Instead I turned my alarm off and kept sleeping like a fat pig! The result was--I didn't get to study :(

Trying to release my neck pain, back pain, eyes pain, this pain and that pain, I thought I should disturb Laura in her room. After a short chit-chat, she lured me to watch one of the latest Korean movie entitled "Face". Quite a cool movie with ghosy-ghosy images  And so it dragged on with M'sian Idol and AF and watched the same Korean movie the second time for the sake of Lere and Elsh. Oooh! After listening to the sick "Frosty the pervert" song, I was bombarded with "awww..so nice you're finishing..", "wow..one more to go...", etc. I was so flattered lah konon and tempted to pack some of my stuff.. Then I can stop thinking about Pi Noy owing me 60B, thus I called her son to sent the money since I'm really broke now. Seriously, I only have 10B + 10B=20B right now. Haven't got the chance to go to the bank.

Twas was Jaff's plan to go to the massage parlor in Muak Lek tomorrow and I've promised to go with him. Waaa..my shoulders and neck feels like tough meat, if to be cooked, probably it'll take days to become tender...ahaha..budu oh!

k lah...am waiting for my food right now and need to study Allan's Sacred Lit.

p/s: It's really cold here right now. So to those of my cousins and friends who are coming, please bring warm clothes!

Papers Done
12.14.04 (7:55 pm)   [edit]

Am finally done with Wild Swans' paper. Wow...Now I felt the squeezing of brain that my friends tried to explain in doing this paper. Yup. I started from 7pm until now 11:52pm. Eventhough I've started on the draft earlier, to make it really good takes 5 hours. Wooooooooohooo!

Haven't studied for History yet. Am trying hard now. two more days to go and I can drull berabis on my pillow!

Can't wait to see all my friends who are coming for the Pathfinder Camporee. Haven't prepared for this camp though...moreover I need to get several stuff before I attend because haiya...susah lah our 'wanna-be-director'...adakah he go and give me M'sian flag!

Lollie, I've booked the place already. Just come and bring lots of $$ so that you can blanja me! Ehek!

Masih Exam
12.13.04 (2:00 pm)   [edit]

A friend slept in our room last nite to study but didn't really managed to get up  I was studying the whole midnite that I almost fell asleep while doing my essay questions for Philosophy. Ya, two papers today. Asian Literature and Philosophy of Education. Thank God these two are over. Three more to go and I can rejoice!

Christmas can't wait
12.11.04 (7:15 pm)   [edit]

Sang in church today. "What Child Is This?" in our mutilated version. Eik!

Had lots of party lately-- Christmas party. Last nite's sacred concert was angelicly awsome! Thanks to the church choirs who made it really beautiful. Before that, we had a small welcoming gathering for Ms. Faridah and family due to their arrival last nite.

At least my tickets didn't go to waste. Won a blue piece of towel which according to Ervin, good enough to 'lap motor'. Then another gift was soemthing strange, dunno what's it called but who cares...won't use it and so gave it to A. Ritha. Nice of her lending me her glasses for seconds...;)

Need to study now. Envy Tennyson for getting so much from the insurance company!

Holiday....not yet!

Last day of class
12.09.04 (8:25 am)   [edit]

WAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatcha! Ahaha...today's my last class and guess what? A good friend of mine actually suggested to Bee and I that we should burn all our uniforms and just keep one for the finals. Ya...I'll consider that with traditions/rituals! Eeeee...sounds like vodoo...

Finally decided to contact the Saraburi SCB branch to inquire about the bank draft that I've deposited. They promised to call me if there's any problem. After 2 weeks of waiting, the money hasn't been deposited to my account and they didn't call. What's the matter with these people???? So today I made a call and it took me 15 mins. on the phone just to listen to the hold ring tone melody "Yesterday". Must be something wrong with their communication somewhere and it took me almost 10 minutes waiting for them to give the answer to my simple questions! Then they said they need me to go to Saraburi again to show them my passport. Why don't they inform me earlier???!

Took year book picture with the graduation gown today. EEee, I don't even feel like showing people that I'm graduating next year since I've been here almost like half a decade. Happy that my suggested motto and aim for the graduation are voted by majority. The reason I chose those motto and aim is that it goes with songs ready made. That saves lots of time thinking!

Now I'm still in a dilemma of whether I should go or not go to Saraburi. Only to send a piece of paper, come on...

Dinner last nite at the Kemps was a real treat. It's one of the best meal I've ever have this semester on campus. The lasagnia Mrs. Kemp fixed was lovely! Dee and I actually regretted of not going for 2nd round!

Trimmed my finger nails as if I have nothing else to do...

Messing up
12.08.04 (11:31 am)   [edit]

Messing up my days. Adakah...I have 4 more papers to write and I still go online chating and blogging and eating and practicing and sleeping and lazing!

I'll surely miss my classmates. They have been seeing the real me everyday in class. Oh ya...we had two hours of Mr. Allan's class today and towards the end of the first period, Phuoangmala and I were literally swinging our heads sleepily. And Mr. Allan goes like "Hi...is anyone awake here or what?" Ahahhahah!

This pic was taken today:

Latey
12.07.04 (9:24 pm)   [edit]

I'm suppose to do my work but work is too tiring plus my back is aching.

Earlier on, ate Khra pao tao hu and this time it's not from NZ but Las Vegas. It was nice of Elsh to bring me food. Can't express how grateful I am.

Felt too bored with assignments, I decided to try random chatting (after almost a year neglecting it). Wow..when I entered #Brunei, suddenly a whole bunch of people started sending private chat request. *flattered* Nyway, there's this guy who seemed to chat differently than the others and I have the instinct that he's a nice guy. He's a policeman and have been to Bkk recently. He said his group stayed at a hotel behind MBK for a week and found MBK a good place to shop. Hm..interesting! There's also one guy who chatted with me but I didn't really bother to reply. When I told him that I'm in Thailand, he thought that I'm a "mother f**k*r"! I was so pissed and closed the channel and blocked his ID. Then Switz was on. She was wondering about our hairstyle when we get to heaven. Will it ever grow long? Can we still dye them?

Oh...the chapel talk to day was very inspiring. I was more than awake because Dr. Jerry is really a good speaker! See my artistic friend Dee expresses our feeling (nyway, good job Dee...I can identify my cute mole!)--- http://www.geocities.com/theworldof_deanna/cha pel.html" title="http://www.geocities.com/theworldof_deanna/cha pel.html" target="_blank"http://www.geocities.com/thew...

Must Read
12.07.04 (12:51 am)   [edit]

I received this e-mail from aunty Annie Chew. Hope you'll prayfully read it. It's a message from a woman named Soophaphone Sirivongsack (Soo), a Laotian, and she tells about God's soon coming and the Sunday Law which will surely take place in 2005. This article is a must read:

The Air
12.06.04 (3:22 am)   [edit]

The weather is so pleasant. Started reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown today. A friend persuaded me to just read the first chapter of it since I was too stingy with my time for other readings. She said “once you got hold of the book, don’t ever imagine that you will put it down.” So far, 50% of what she have said is true…

Finally the four of us are able to practice for Abe’s wedding. Of course most of the efforts are credited to Daron for his excellent job with the piano chords. The lyric to our song was actually composed in Mr. Allan’s class – when day dreaming activity was dominating. Thanks to Nok too for helping me with the Thai pronunciation. We still need a lot of practices, yet time is running short and with exams and work, practices will probably be lessen to 2 days or so before the wedding.

Exam is VERY soon. Well, I don’t know what makes me so sleepy these days. I do sleep for sure, but probably lacking a lot plus the brain is too busy thinking!

Worry free
12.04.04 (7:20 pm)   [edit]

Waking up for a healthy breakfast wasn’t at all bad. What more when soy milk suddenly refuses the accompaniment of sugar and oat meal deserted salt…Lucky to have cashew nuts befriended with raisins and peanuts. All enthralled me with love on a wonderful Sabbath morning!

Sitting in church, the sermon on Isaiah brought back lots of memories especially when familiar slides were shown. Oh whatever…I love my shawl!

Had our first practice for the wedding, finally.

Santai
12.03.04 (1:42 pm)   [edit]

Happy Sabbath. I've just finished cleaning. Probably this will be the second last time for me to breathe all the dust in my room and sure enough I'll be missing all this, this!!! And now I'm enjoying the A/C. Wowwwwww...gotta embrace this moment!

Oh, last nite's fire drill--all the plans that were discussed such as shower cap and sarong, throwing stuff from the balcony, on facial mask, traumatized...all gone due to the time it took for the bell to actually ring! What's more funny was when Laura and I walked up after the fire drill gathering, we noticed a cicak literally lying on the floor. All the time it has been dwelling right on top of the emergency bell. Due to the vibration impact, it had fell to the ground and died! Ahahahahah...

Bah, tonite my kawan2 wants to go to NZ. Good that Roy is here, will surely make him addicted to Khra pao tao hu!

Disappointments
12.02.04 (5:02 am)   [edit]

I called Dad yesterday. He was quite happy to know that I was on the other side of the phone, but before he could say anything further, I knew that something has happened that really made him disappointed. Indeed after talking, he managed to get me feel what he felt. Trying my best to cheer him up, we managed to talk about plans in the future which was quite comforting...

Great disappointments happens to individuals at times. You get frustrated when someone in your family felt this and you'll probably be added to the number of people who experience second-hand disappointments. I remembered an sms message my dad sent me, it says: In times of difficulties, never ever say "God I have a big PROBLEM", but instead "Hey problem, I have a big GOD!"'

Disappointments come to all of us; and the more I see of life, the more convinced I am that one of the most important lessons anyone can learn is how to handle these disappointments. It is sometimes hard to see God's hand in things. We may not understand why things happen the way they do. But God has a way of working through things, and fashioning our disappointments into something worthwhile.

O God, make us aware of your presence day by day. Help us be assured that all our disappointments can be turned over to you, and our lives can be strengthened and renewed.
