Grape Planting 5

Sorry. Have to change the header pix since I no longer look like the previous header.

Here is a stupid joke I read this morning:

Seorang penembara ditangkap di orang asli di sebuah pedalaman. Mereka hendak memasak dan memakan daging pengembara tersebut. Tiba-tiba datang ketua orang asli yang faish berbahasa Inggeris. "Anda nampaknya berpelajaran tinggi dan mahir berbahasa Inggeris..." kata pengembara. "Tapi anda masih memakan daging manusia?" "Ya.." jawab ketua orang asli itu, "tapi sekarang saya telah menggunakan pisau dan garpu."

I spent 5 days in MC and it was really good to see everyone. A friend safely gave birth to a baby boy last friday evening and Jordan celebrated his belated birthday. He is all "Increadible" since he's one of the top fan of the latest cartoon The Increadibles. I wish I can have all their powers so that it will be more easier for me to smack those devils hahahaha!

Watched a movie entitled  Spanglish that is produced by James L. Brooke and it reminds me of how easy people embrace other culture nowadays that sometimes it makes me so sick to see an overdoer! Anyway, this movie is worth watching. Adam Sandler is in it and you know what to expect!

I cut my hair again. Was satisfied with the previous cut but the combing and the curling of the edge of the hair takes up too much of my dressing time. So I randomly stepped into a saloon and made a description of the kind of style that I want. Fortunately this hair dresser kinda read my mind and cut exactly the kind of style that I've been dreaming of having. I've never felt more than satisfied with my haircut before but this one is so perfect that I'm afraid I'll not grow my hair any longer. Hope I've done justice to my face!

Basically, these are the things I did today.

Wanted to go back to MC but made a U-turn of decision. So next weekend will surely be there. Skipped church today instead had a personal devotional which was quite inspiring. As we entered Sizzler TL today, it wasn't as pleasant as before since renovation is being done to the place. a friendly taxi driver survived beating the traffic and took us to Rama IV Lotus for 67B (mahal than usual) to find a special sandal for a friend. Wew Rxxx, your sandals can beat the traffic oh!

Watched Roots and Branches on DVD and sheded lots of tears. You guys should watch! It's a chinese movie and the main actress is Gigi Leung.

Grape farming day :lol:Actually my friends and I just came back from this MK and the Dawat's house. Poor Aunt D. just got her tooth extracted... Earlier I was browsing books in one of the 'second-hand bookshop' and found a quite interesting book The Teardrop Story Woman by Catherine Lim (a Malaysian born). Read the first chapter and it's almost somehow like Wild Swans. In fact the review says that if you like reading Wild swans, you should like this book too  Now that I have something to read, it will surely keep me occupied for quite a time. Anyone has any interesting true story novel or stories written by Asian writers, please share them to me.

Commenting on my eating habits, I just can't stop eating!!!

Attended friend's graduation for the professional teaching certificate last Sunday. Sung a duet with Roy but the sound system didn't function as it was supposed to be. Well Daron, you'll have to play the next time we sing this song! *wink*

Went to Central Loft to eat 69B pizza and to Central Tops to shop for grocery. Guess what? I found my craved Doritos! Ya, now I know where to go shop for imported goods. They have that yummy gherkins, nachos, etc. Much for now...

2005

Happy New Year 2005! I guess it is still not too late to wish everyone a great year. Five years ago, I kept on imagining the days of 2005. Imagining what will it be like, what will happen or will earth still maintain its existence. Well, still good. Despite what happened in Asia last December. Earth’s wounded and it is only the beginning of more to come. I know it’s kinda scary, but there is no way that we human can escape.

Looking back, I conclude that I definitely had a good year last year. Of course some ups and downs and you might have read some through my daily blogs. Other than that, life has been exciting with daily challenges, surprises and not forgetting those lame days (haha!). Whether I managed to achieve my resolutions - yes I did, but not all of it. So this year is another opportunity for me to try, and try harder!

If there’s one thing that people make me say about what I miss most in college, I will definitely say “my friends”. I’m sure most students will say the same thing once they leave. To me, it’s much easier to make friends in schools compared to making one in a working place, especially in a big city like ehm…Bangkok. It also depends on one’s personality and I know a somehow timid person like me will only make one in 3 months, lets see…*wink*

This year, I’m looking forward for self-improvement in every aspect of my life. To list it down is not a good option for I have so much in mind yet very limited knack and space. *wink* However I will blog as much as I progress in areas that I’m fixing on. Obviously right now I’m still waiting for approval to my teaching internship and having a good time catching up sleeps which I missed during college days. And yes! I cut my hair, today.

To catch up from where I left with days of empty blogs, here are some pictures that speaks a thousand words *lol*

Wish everyone a prayful year ahead!
