After hiding her CD for two years, I finally got to hear her enchanted sax charm again today! Work, I know now why people prefer studying over work. But, Ecclesiastes 6 kept my spirit burning all day without complains, surprisingly! I got to admit, religion reduces violence among people-as one of the headline in the Bkkpost today says. It's amazing that I saved 1/2 of my cells from dying compared  the past few weeks. Well, maybe it's Moonday! Ehek...

Happy Sabbath guys! I'm quite lazy in updating my blog lately but at the same time I also felt a need to do so since I don't even have time updating my personal diary! Diary...I love writing and reading them. It's sort of an escape for me every time I read my past diaries that I've written. It's a thrill knowing that you can easily enter your past through your own scribles. Looks like I really need to start recording..

Oh ya, to those of you who browsed through my flickr, I did mentioned there about my River Chao Phraya trip and yes I really enjoyed the boat trip. My next destination is Samut Prakan's Ancient City and Crocodile Farm. I've figured out the bus to these places and it should not be that expensive except for the entrance fee and maybe food.

How did you spend your V-day? Roy and I didn't really plan to do anything special that day but we did go out for dinner at our favorite Oishi restaurant. I just love the cold ramen served with sea weeds and other sweet sour flavor. You guys need to try it 'coz it tasted yummy! *_^ After the dinner we then circled the bakery to stuff ourselves with cakes, buns and some stinky winky juice hehe..It was nothing expensive and nothing big but it was an inexpensive Vday's celebration for the both of us. Schools, students, streets, malls and all over the place are covered with red, pink, white, yellow roses and other flowers for the purpose of selling, buying, giving, surprising, etc. I didn't receive any flowers of any sort since I don't really fancy them. I told Roy to rather save the money and pay for his bus fees to school every morning. *_* Oh well..one of my students told me that he hopes everyday is Valentine's Day so that everyone will always be busy showing love instead of spreading gossips.

Visited a fitness centre called "Fitness First" with Hazel yesterday and was given a free tour around the centre. It's a standardized,  ;classy fitness centre where you can do all kinds of exercise courses such as doing body jams, develop your abs, yoga, etc. If you become a regular member, you'll have lots of advantages using the sauna, the steam bath, access to CD/DVDs, free coffee, tea or soft drinks and can even just laze around watching TV inside the centre. I'm so tempted to join but then after reviewing my priorities this year, joining will not happen maybe until next year. Mrs. Sarah's phone call today was the highlight of my day! *_*

Today is Friday and I love Friday, who doesn't. Well, my school is having their annual Sport's day today and my department has to stay in school since we weren't participating. So we did some interesting activities such as watching movies, then cooking. Managed to play around with Spaghetti and Pizza in da kitchen with the students.

Oh boy it's 12:40am. Time to sleep...nite!

MC...not today...Cry Sorry Daron, Dee, Julie, Fee and Teddy. Looks like I have to reschedule for another time to go to MC...uhukkkCry

After school today, was surprised by the presence of Irwin in school. He came to Bkk to look for an apartment and will be moving to ABAC college next month. He brought us to Shabushi and 'til now I'm still as full as a pig!

TGIF
02.09.06 (11:38 pm)   [edit]

Busy, busy, busy bee...Tongue outLike bumblebees searching nectars all day, boy that really is not easy! Yes, life has been like those bees these days. Recently I was appointed as my department's secretary and you bet I'm not enjoying it at all because it means typing minutes, letters, letters and letters and often I stumble and hang around with the question "HOW". Say wanting to be an office gal huh? Deanna, it's fun but using formality in all letter areas is not,  e.g. taking minutes and typing it hehehWink.

My Intensive class finally separated into three classes: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Teaching hours is not that boring anymore for me and for the students since we have more interesting subjects such as spelling, reading and grammar. I couldn't ask for more when the administrator showed so much kindness this time in accepting my suggestions! It's true, what good an Intensive class without grammar, spelling and all the English skills?? This, kept me busy for the past few weeks too. Next week, Roy and I will be busy putting up our bulletin boards and we haven't any idea what theme will we put on this time. Oh yes, Roy goes to school with me now ehek!

Having a little 'pause' time today, was thinking of all my friends. I really miss hanging out with old friends. Maybe I should go back to MC to ease this, it's always the best place to hang out with college friends. Heard from Haze that the MC van service had stopped their service for quite sometime due to some problem but I hope that somehow I can still make it tomorrow if the service is back hopefully! Oh, tomorrow is Haze's birthday. Dunno what to give to this sweet buddy yet but I was thinking of getting her plants that she can place outside her balcony. She's married now but she hasn't changed a bit. She's still that Hazel I knew back then and I know no matter what her status is, she'll always stick by and will be there for me for better or worst. I noticed one thing after writing things about her, that it's so hard for me to write a testimonial for all my best buddies in friendster. I just have so much to say and couldn't condense words into few sentences only. Maybe it's enough for me to just write "She is 'so and so' and she is my friend." Undecided

It's 1:33am and I can't go to bed since I've just woke up. Friends, TGIF!! Have a blessed weekend...

The Nail
02.02.06 (7:11 pm)   [edit]

Thanks Lai Sum for reminding me that important no matter what...Laughing

**   THE NAIL   **
As the story goes, they built a new church building and people came
from far and wide to see it. They admired its beauty! Up on the roof,
a little nail heard the people praising everything about the lovely
structure-except the nail! No one even knew he was there, and he
became angry and jealous.

"If I am that insignificant, nobody will miss me if I quit!" So the
nail then released its hold, slid down the roof, and fell in the mud.

That night it rained and rained. Soon, the shingle that had no nail
blew away, and the roof began to leak. The water streaked the walls
and the beautiful murals. The plaster began to fall, the carpet was
stained, and the pulpit Bible was ruined by water. All this because
a little nail decided to quit!

But what of the nail? While holding the shingle, it was obscure but
it was also useful. Buried in the mud it was just as obscure, but
now it was useless and would soon by eaten up by rust!

The moral of the story-EVERY MEMBER IS IMPORTANT TO THE CHURCH! You
may, like the nail, feel obscure at times, but just like the nail,
your absence is felt. When you are not present for worship, in some
way the body of Christ hurts. We are ALL a part of the Lord's
ministry.
1 Corinthians 12:26-27

Rules of Men
02.02.06 (7:01 pm)   [edit]
Thank you Tedson for the Education! Yup...this is from Teddy Weddy and yeah...although you men labelled all rules as no. 1, mannn...why in the world do you still complain we have too many rules when you actually have tons too?? tsk..tsk..
We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the Rules from the male side. These are our rules:-
Please note... these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE AS THEY ARE ALL THE ONE GOLDEN RULE
1. Breasts are for looking at and that is why we do it. Don't try to change that.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need
it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it
   down.
1. Saturday = sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it
    be.
1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all
comments become null and void after 7 days.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes
you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not
both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
1. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.
1. ALL men see in only 16 colours, like Windows default settings. Peach, for
example, is a fruit, not a colour. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what
   Mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing,"  ;we will act like nothing's
wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you
   don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine. Really.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss
such topics as Sex, Sport, or Cars.
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
1. I am in shape. Round is a shape.
Thank you for reading this; Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight, but did you know men really don't mind that, it's like camping.
Pass this to as many men as you can - to give them a laugh. Pass this to as many women as you can - to give them an education!!

Not working, blogging
02.01.06 (1:45 pm)   [edit]

As you can see, I've changed the colors of the fonts here and yes I've changed too many times and I hope I won't reset the whole thing again and this hopefully would be permanent.

I'm absent from school today due to some monthly problem that's affecting me badly this month. "Ice...what have you done???" Oh well, I'm glad to stay home anyway heh! Thinking of all the things that needs to be done in school gives me the headache already. Currently my class has 13 students and all of them have different level of English. It's hard to teach students with different level if you know what I mean. So I suggested to the administrators to separate them according to their level of either Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. This coming Monday according to promise, we will be transferring classes into the first building way inside the school. Imagine all the walking I have to make. Then I need to worry about composing letters too...pheeeeewwwww!

Well yesterday my Friend up there did me a very big favor and all my thanks to Him. Thank you for helping me with all the plans. I have no regrets for You kicking my butt everyday just so that I go to school. Thank You for teaching me how and for the hints when needed. Thank You too for giving me a thick skin in facing the real thing. I asked and You have given it to me.
