Teachers Use the Stairs!
08.27.07 (2:29 pm)   [edit]

"Why do I have to walk all the way from the 1st floor to the 6th floor? Why can't I take the elevator?"

I'm complaining! No I'm not! I'm complaining! No I'm not! I AM COMPLAINING!!! Yes, so what??

Okay so it all happened this morning after classes were over in the morning session. Since I came to school this morning I have been competing with time to see who can win our marathon. Obviously I haven't been slacking and chasing butterflies the whole morning so don't even bet with time. The triple AAA is here again to check in on who's being naughty or nice since the last time they visited. Knowing that my class might be under a spy glass, I took a complete rush to type all my lesson plans and printed out my course outline.

So classes danced gracefully with time and got away without being observed, thank you ('coz I don't need Santa's pressies!). So I sighed in relief that at least I don't have to run until the end of the school period today. So wrong. Cute blue stiletto now mince no more! Mama is being pushed by arrogant students out of the elevator right to the steps! For once I thought, do these kids still learn Pendidikan Moral? Where is the manners that we recite by heart "Always give way to people who are older than us (or give way to that lady with cute brand new platform!)"?? Man, the Jabatan Pendidikan Malaysia so have to wipe out my SPM Moral result from my Grade slip since I got "pangkat 8" written on it! See I told you 1997 teachers-of-the-past, I don't need Pendidikan Moral in my Generation!!! Great! So Great! Students get to use the lift (elevator) and teachers need to use the freaking stairs!

Students = elevator; Teachers = Staircase

Fine, fine, fine! From now on till I celebrate my 70th birthday, I shall reply this question with much love and tribute to my cute new blue stiletto!

Question: Why are you on crutches?

Answer: Blame it on the students in the elevator = stairs = pendidikan moral!

Sunday Shopping
08.26.07 (9:56 pm)   [edit]

Yes! Our desires were fulfilled. Our shopping desires...

We've been suppressing our desires this month because of some reasons and finally today we got to really enjoy shopping! Hobbit and I had all the things we wanted to get listed in mind and by the time we stroll and shop, we got everything that was in our list. To top it all, nothing beats the quality time Hobbit and I spent out together today. God is so good!

Childhood Sandals
08.26.07 (12:37 am)   [edit]

The above sandals really reminded me of my childhood days. Thanks to my parents who took lots and lots of pictures of me growing up. If not, I really wouldn't have known anything about how I look like or what I wear, etc during my baby days! I'll make sure to buy at least one close to this kind of sandals for my Babb in the future! By the way, look at baby Suri (Katie & Tom Cruise's daughter) wearing it. Adorable isn't?

Sleep on Luxury Woods
08.25.07 (6:47 pm)   [edit]

I was in the midst of changing bedsheets in our guest room when I noticed that our wooden bed was slightly slanted due to some broken woods underneath the mattress. I don't blame my guests for it since I already knew ahead of time that the bed needs to be replaced or fixed. So here I am browsing at some Oak Beds online. To me, nothing beats the look of a nice wooden bed. I prefer oak when it comes to wood furniture because of the cool feelings you get when it is used inside your house. Well, here at Wooden Beds dot com, you can find a huge variety of wooden beds. It is very easy to shop here since the beds are categorized according to their prices, wood types and styles. So, if you are thinking of getting a wooden bed for your home, go to this site because all the woods they are using are top, luxury woods that guaranties your sleep!

Research Paper
08.25.07 (6:24 pm)   [edit]

I can't believe I actually just googled for "How to write a research paper"! Boo! Shame on me! Has it been that long since I last wrote one? Needless to say, I actually don't have much time left to read nor to do a BIG research  on the topic I am currently looking at as I need to circulate one of my draft papers to my group members soon. Arghhh!  What a good way to explain procrastination! Me is very much an expert on this. Welcome time dragger!

My Biblical Name
08.24.07 (8:59 pm)   [edit]

Happy Sabbath everyone! My day started with a very hectic and tight schedule. Fridays no longer can be called a luxury day of the week! Boo...

I haven't visited Blogthings.com for quite some time. I know they always have stuff for you to post in your blog and this time I wanted to know what could be my biblical name and tadaaa! Beautiful name...

Your Biblical Name Is...

Raizel Joelliane

You will live to see the end of times.

To brag a bit, I'm so proud of myself! I drove all the way home from Carrefour Ram.  Being a first timer on that road, I managed to grip on to the steering. Nevertheless, I was holding my breath all the way home. Why?? Jitters!! I think with lotsa practices and patience, I can overcome the fear of driving in Bangkok.

psst: Did little bird told you I finally got a Thai licence?? Yay!! I hope it won't rot and rust! *_*

Low Interest Credit Cards
08.23.07 (10:39 pm)   [edit]
Just recently, the news on the radio announced that the interest for credit card will increase 5% more. Right then my hobbit blurted a sigh of relief of not having any credit card because we have been wanting to apply for one. However, now you can apply a credit card called Mint credit that charges very low interest online with a competitive introductory offer online plus a host of benefits. For credit card application, visit their website and fill out the appropriate form. What I like about their features is that they will text you a bill reminder for your payment so that a forgetful person like me would always clear out their accounts before the money goes elsewhere.

Letting Go
08.22.07 (7:38 am)   [edit]

The First Day

I gave you a little wink and smile
As you entered my room today.
For I know how hard it is to leave
And know your child must stay.
You've been with him for five years now
And have been a loving guide,
But now, alas, the time has come
To leave him at my side.
Just know that as you drive away
And tears down your cheeks may flow
I'll love him as I would my own
And help him learn and grow.
For as a parent, I too know
How quickly the years do pass
And that one day soon it will be my turn
To take my child to class.
So please put your mind at ease
And cry those tears no more
For I will love him and take him in
When you leave him at my door.

*taken from http://www.kinderthemes.com/b...

What a beautiful poem to give to parents who send their sons or daughters to their first day of school in kindergarten, don't you think so? I could imagine how hard it is for parents to finally let go, and how hard it is for them to hold back tears...

Online File Storage
08.22.07 (6:24 am)   [edit]

Owning a thumbdrive is nevertheless easy nowadays. In fact I couldn't believe that during my college days I once got myself into saving all my hard earned bucks just to buy a thumbdrive that cost about 1000+ baht, which today would only cost me about 340+ baht! What a big gap! What more, with free online storage like Driveway that let you store up to 500mb for each file, you no longer even need a thumb drive to share, store or send large files online.

A free online storage website like Driveway is a recently launched file sharing utility in the web. Features include easy sharing for files with unlimited total storage, a plugin for faster uploads, folder upload support as a zip file and even web widgets for easy sharing including read/write access. No registration is required. Now you can upload files easily without worrying whether or not you brought your thumbdrive to work today! Overall, Driveway is a way if you have difficulties sending large attachment over to your friends. This save your time and hassle tweaking your email software or webmail. I highly recommend this site!

Precious Family
08.21.07 (11:32 pm)   [edit]

*Picture taken during dad's birthday at The Windmill Restaurant, Subang Jaya.

What Is Family?
Family are the shouts in the dark that keep you awake
trying to be invisible under your blankets.
Family is the warm heart you run to
when everyone else at the rink skates too fast
and you've cut your knees on the ice.
Family are given to you at birth
with your eyes and lips and nose.
They will stick to you wherever you go
     and shape how you see
     and what you say
     and how you are seen
     forever.
Family are found new each day
wherever you put your heart last.
Family are the people you share bread with,
and whoever you share the lack of bread with.
Sometimes your family aren't people.
Family is whoever lives under the tent of your soul.
Your family can be as big as you are,
and from birth to death, your real, real family
are the ones who make you grow bigger.
poem by Anitra L. Freeman from "Families of Poems"

Thai Marzipan
08.20.07 (8:30 pm)   [edit]

Have you ever stop and admire cute marzipan desserts? If you are a fan of various types of marzipans, the Thais has their own version of marzipans too and they call it "Luk Chup". Other marzipan like the famous Italian marzipans are usually made of ground almonds or almond paste, egg whites, and sugar, and molded into decorative shapes. These luk chups are also molded cute miniature except that they are made of mung beans, coconut milk and sugar in Day Glo colors. Why am I blogging about Thai luk chups? Simply because hobbit and I found them to be very delicious, cute and sexy!

Interracial Romance
08.20.07 (12:23 pm)   [edit]

Love is no longer color-coded today. Romances between people of different colors are being handled more offhandedly, with race being neither an issue nor much of a plot point. I noticed especially how younger people today don't see couples as different races. They don't draw those lines. Try watch MTV, and you will see videos with all kind of people interacting."

Well, what I really want to say is that interracial dating is perfectly fine. If you are interested in dating sites, like the ones that I have mentioned in my previous post, why not try interracial romance as well? It is a dating website where you can search through thousands of interracial singles looking for love. You can search through thousands of profiles and browse their photos. Besides that you can use the chat rooms, express ideas/opinion in forums and use many other great features. Who knows you may find your love online or just make some friends. For me, it is always nice to meet different kinds of people and make a lot of friends.

Home made Chapati
08.20.07 (11:54 am)   [edit]

Hobbit and I woke up last Sabbath with growling tummies. So I suggested to make healthy chapatis! We never make chapatis before but then we would learn to, I thought. What good mood hobbit had that he jumped out of bed and headed towards the kitchen. We started lining up all the ingredients needed. FYI, of course as I've said we don't have any experience in making chapatis, but based on memory from Aunty R's instructions, we managed to get all the ingredients ready.

Our Chapati Ingredients:

  • 1 cups wholewheat flour
  • 2 cups of multi-purpose flour
  • Water (Using yoghurt or milk will give you super soft Chapatis!)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsps vegetable/ canola/ sunflower cooking oil

Step 1: Organize all your ingredients so you won't move around looking for them, or worst still ask your all anticipating wife to get them for you! *_*

Step 2: Pour the wholewheat flour  and the multipurpose flour into a big bowl. Slowly pour water or yoghurt or milk and start kneading. Pour pinches of salt to add taste to the flour. While kneading, add water as needed and knead again until you get the right consistency.

*I forgot to take picture of Roy kneading the dough. Was too excited watching him knead. *_*

Step 3: At this stage, it is optional to add oil to the dough. The result from adding a little bit of vegetable oil is a very soft dough. So we opted to add a little bit of oil to our dough.

Step 4: After you are done kneading, leave the dough slightly for 5 minutes. Some say you should leave it for 10-15 minutes but it all depends on the texture of your dough. This is how ours looked like.

Step 5: Now, divide the dough into equal portion. Slightly the size of a golf ball. Roll between your palms. Look how Hobbit did this part. Wink

Step 6: Then rub the surface of the dough ball with flour to prevent it sticking on to the rolling surface.

Step 7: Get ready to roll. Roll until you have a flat circle. Since we didn't have a proper roller, we decided to use a bottle as our roller! *save cost*

Step 8: Coat flour on both sides of the flat dough so that it won't stick to the plate or with other doughs.

Step 9: Heat the pan on a medium flame and put the rolled out dough on it to cook for about 1 minute. Make sure to flip it whenever you see a slight raised bumps on the surface. You might want to do a second flip just to even out the texture. When you see the chapati starts puffing, press it slightly with a dry cloth or as for us, we just simply use the spatula to encourage slightly bigger puff.

* As for ours, the chapati did puff, but not as big as we expected. Look at the shape, not as round as the expert's ones.. *_*

Step 10: After the puff, the chapati should be ready to be served. As for ours, our chapati turned out to be of many rugged circular shape. For me, it's not a big deal. Hobbit did all of it and I was nothing but being proud of his effort! The taste was superb, I enjoyed it to the last bite! Lovely Sabbath breakfast!

Note: This recipe is not for public use and not an expert way of making a chapati. Please refer to an expert for full accurate recipe if you desire to attempt on making a standardized chapati.

DO YOU KNOW

Do you know?
Do you know?

Do you know what it feels like loving someone that’s in a rush to throw you away?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?

If birds flying south is a sign of changes
At least you can predict this every year
Love, you never know the minute it ends suddenly
I can’t get it to speak
Maybe if I knew all the things it took to save us
I could fix the pain that bleeds inside of me
Look in your eyes to see something about me
I’m standing on the edge and I don’t know what else to give.

Do you know what it feels like loving someone that’s in a rush to throw you away?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?

How can I love you?
How can I love you?
How can I love you?
How can I love you?
If you just don’t talk to me, babe.

I flow through my act
There's a question: Is she needed?
And decide all the man I can ever be.
Looking at the last 3 years like I did
I could never see us ending like this.

(Do you know?)

Seeing your face no more on my pillow
Is a scene that’s never ever happened to me.

(Do you know?)

But after this episode I don’t see
You could never tell the next thing life could be

Do you know what it feels like loving someone that’s in a rush to throw you away?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?

Do you know what it feels like loving someone that’s in a rush to throw you away?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?

(Do you know?)
(Do you know?)
(Do you know?)

Apogee Search
08.19.07 (4:28 pm)   [edit]

Apogee Search is one of the largest Search Engine Marketing service firms in the US founded in 2001. Their main goal is making money for their clients. That is why they provide all the tools and business expertise required to turn a company's online efforts into strategic, revenue generators. According to them, click-throughs on a website mean nothing unless they lead directly to sales.

I chose to check out their Search Engine Marketing Glossary in The Search Downloads & Resources site. This section provides a great list of search tools, and even a regularly updated list of conferences and tradeshows from around the world. This would be useful to anyone wanting to market as effectively as possible online.

The Britain Dream
08.19.07 (12:38 pm)   [edit]

Many of my cousins are residing in the UK. Some of them even insisted that hubby and I should give up our job here and move over since (according to them) we could always apply jobs in advance and stay with them until we get settle down. Oh my! Come to think of it, It's not that easy. It will probably take us 8 to 15 years to make this idea a reality! Perhaps, it is not something that is impossible, but lets face the truth.

Where do you think my first stop would be if I visit? Well, most probably Scotland. Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is where one of my relatives live. It is the second largest city after Glasgow. Check out Edinburgh Castle. The attractions include St. Margaret's Chapel, which is Edinburgh's oldest building, War Memorial, and exhibitions on the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny. Edinburgh is also well-known for the annual Edinburgh Festival, a collection of official and independant festivals held annually over about four weeks from early August. If you are planning to visit, check out the hotels in Edinburgh.
Next stop would probably be Glasgow. Well, none of my relatives live here, but it is one of the famous cities in Scotland. Being the third most popular place in the UK, Glasgow is situated on the River Clyde in the country's west central lowlands. A person from Glasgow is known as a Glaswegian. I bet there are many historical places in Glasgow since it grew from the medieval Bishopric of Glasgow and the later establishment of the University of Glasgow, which contributed to the Scottish Enlightenment. I just love going to historical places and thus I don't mind checking in to one of the hotels in Glasgow.
For a first timer, I guess three major places is a bit too much to visit but lets look at another one. I am getting excited when thinking about these places. All the way to Cardiff, Wales. Everytime I think of Wales, I think of some of my favorite opera singers like Charlotte Church. Cardiff is the capital, largest and core city of Wales. Places that you should not miss going is the all time famous Cardiff Castle. It is a major tourist attraction in the city and is situated in the heart of the city center, near to the main shopping streets of Queen St and St Mary's St. Stop by Cardiff Bay too because there are lots of cultural sites that you can visit. Make sure you check your luggage in one of the hotels in Cardiff before you go out to enjoy the sightseeing and shopping.

Forky Friday
08.17.07 (1:42 pm)   [edit]

I just finish clearing up my messy work desk in this teacher's room. Thought of requesting an extra desk to put stuff, but after rearranging and throwing out all the junks, there was more than enough space!

It's Friday. The morning rush marathon was worth it after all! I've finally learned from past mistakes. Now life is much more bearable in school.

Hey...ever thought of making cool holes on your nose before? Well, you don't need to go spend and go far...just grab a fork and it will do the job. This boy is a living proof!

Well, have a forky Friday everyone! Don't misuse your fork! *_*

Snap snap snap!
08.15.07 (11:45 am)   [edit]

I think I really need a new camera this Christmas. Roy and I had discussed about it and apparently the pros of having a new camera outweigh the pros of keeping the old one. I just love to snap away. Unfortunately, the camera that I am currently using is too bulky and too difficult to carry around. From various occasions, I experienced being the last one to snap certain important event just because I have to pull my semi-dslr out from its bulky bag pouch and adjusting the lens, apature, etc. Man, it's like I'm forever fixing my camera while my surrounding moves rapidly thus makes me, a snail amateur photographer, unable to capture all the excitement, colors, tone, mood that I really thought awesome!

Nowadays, I could hardly see people carry their manual cameras around except for some professionals who wants their picture to have that original, classy look! Well, I'm sure their reasons for using the manual ones are far beyond what I know, but for most of us, we rather go for convenient sake and not wanting too much hassle such as sending rolls and rolls of films for printing, or have piles of photo albums. We rather store pictures in what I call an invisible way such as storing them in our USB card, thumb drive, notebooks, CDs, etc.

So what brands do I go for if I am to buy a new one? Well, my favorite ones are of course what people call the luxury brand and only-pro-should-buy ones. Oh well, I am not a pro, but I just like to have them anyway! For bulky dslr, I will opt for Nikon, and for mini digital cam, I'll go for Canon. As I have mentioned earlier, I am going for the mini ones, so right now I haven't really decide which among the many Canons will I pick for use. Just browsing on cameras alone makes me go crazy, what more choosing a specific one! Perhaps, what I need right now is read more reviews and get more opinions from you Canon freak out there. Help me out, would you?

Extended Vacation
08.15.07 (10:47 am)   [edit]

Thank goodness I can retrieve my post!

Day 1 for Primary section today. I am all excited to meet all my old students and welcome the new ones in class. Some people still think that I will have more time for myself this school year since I no longer have to attend evening classes. Not right at all. The fact is, I have more classes compared to last year, more assignments for my Masters, and more students to tutor. When is actually MY time for myself during the weekdays?? I bet only a close to a quarter working people have that luxury! I shouldn't complain, but be grateful for the ability to work, work and work.

Clare, why are you leaving for Sarawak so soon?? We haven't got to fart in all the restaurants we planned to go yet! Ahh...I just love eating out with her. She has such marvelous appetite that makes me give her a "double salute" everytime we go out to makan. It makes this kononnya-want-to-diet bigfish swallow and sip all the edibles served. With her wit and humor, she makes me laugh and faint like fireflies. Her generosity and caring attitude moves me to pieces. What a woman!

Blog and Earn
08.15.07 (10:20 am)   [edit]

I've been so much into blogging these few days that I basically spend a whole lot of my spare time sitting in front of my laptop just to blog what is on my mind. As I was actively reading blogs from other bloggers, I discovered this interesting blogging business called PayP.erPost (PP-P). Yes, curiosity kills the cat! I was totally blown away by the offer. Let me explain briefly...

Well, if you blog often and want to earn some cash from it, then you should bring traffic to your site and introduce Payp.erpost or better known PP-P. As this site puts it, they connect bloggers and advertisers in one central location.

With almost 4 years of blogging experiences, I have been writing so much about my own personal life, food, online products, services, and have reviewed websites and online-businesses that I found interesting but have not really thought that those entries can help me get some cash. Not until I discovered PP-P!

One of the things that attracted me to sign up is that they let you choose what product or website you would like to review and blog about. There are many different opportunities and you are not restricted to pick only one. The review or entry you picked of course can lead you to money. Well, as much as I like to receive cash, I also love writing. So money is not the ONLY factor as to why I signed up.

I am still in the process of learning as to how to submit entries, for I also understand that this post will have to be reviewed by the PP-P team and just in case it gets rejected, I know that there will always be some explanations as to why my post is rejected. I can always fix it and re-submit.

Well, so much for what I know about PP-P. Once I get paid, I will surely spend it on those red stuff that I have been eyeing on for quite sometime. So, read the website. It'll surely blow you off as well! *_*

As for now, I'm looking forward for a promising future in the world of blogging with PP-P.

Sunny Monday
08.12.07 (11:23 pm)   [edit]

We didn't get to leave as early as decided the night before. Everyone seemed so tired from the weekend trips. We've been on the road like crazy. I looked at myself in the mirror this few days...oh...panda eyes bag getting bigger and darker. Eyes could fit that of Garfield's, body as stiff as a teak tree. I'm surprised if none of us suffer from jet legs after running around like a hungry mouse around Thailand!

The truth for my long silence here was mainly because of friends visiting from Sarawak. The fun being with them totally distracted my attention from School work. In fact, I happily self-extended my holiday hehe!

Okay...so today we went to Pattaya! It's really late but I'll let the pictures speak for now...

It's time to shop!
08.08.07 (1:14 pm)   [edit]

I can't believe it's almost the end of the year! For sure, many of you are looking forward for the jolly season, Christmas! What makes this season even more exciting is the give and receive session. Last year, I did my Christmas shopping in September since I was afraid to miss the beautiful season after my wedding. This year, I guess there is no harm to shop at this time of the year too since the sale around this time is quite a bargain!

Going through my family's wish list this year, or considering what I have in mind for them, I don't know if I could get all the blings here but maybe surfing some stuff on the net wouldn't hurt. In fact, for some of you, it might be way cheaper to shop for presents online. If this is the option that you and I are heading for, then maybe we could try online shopping. Oh, I know this site has lots and lots of discount coupons for you to choose from. This site is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coupon Chief, Inc. Here, they provide a one stop coupon deal and discount resource for web site visitors. They provide up to date coupon codes and promotional deals. I am eyeing on The Body Shop since it gives new customers a 10% off, free shipping and provides a buy 1 get another one deal. Another store that I would go for is Classic Close Outs . Lots of cool clothes to choose from with good deals! Well, you could go through several other stores to shop from in Coupon Chief and like what I have said earlier, it makes shopping for some of us so easy!

Last Day to Relax
08.05.07 (7:44 pm)   [edit]

I can visualize my days ahead. With piles of assignments to do for my 2 courses, lesson plans for classes, handouts to prepare, papers to mark, tutorings to do, meetings to attend, la di da, da di la...

How am I ever going to survive???

I thought I had gone through days like this, but to start putting up all the surviving gears again after a long break is not easy! I need more sweeteners, more extra flavoring to my adrenaline!

Blog, will you wait for me till the day when I finally can say

"Thank God I survived through it all!"

As for now, count on me, encourage me and keep me happy while I sing

"I will survive...awww! I will survive....uooah!"

Sabbath in a Jam
08.05.07 (12:08 am)   [edit]

We went round and round the city today without the intention of going for a joyride! We left home at 3:40pm for MBK. Like usual, we took the Petchburi Road, supposed to bypass Pratunam and Ratchatewi then follow the road that normally could take us to MBK faster. Today, due to traffic, instead of taking that usual route, my driver hobbit decided to beat the traffic by using Sukhumvit road. Well, I bet you know how Sukhumvit road is, sometimes it is so unpredictable. There are times you can fly drive your car, but there are times you are forced to just sit back and read not just the headlines, but the whole newspaper while stuck in a jam. We were quite close to MBK though, got stuck in Chid Lom (where Central Chid Lom is), so we thought, why not go out on the highway and make a U-turn?? Well, instead of a swift U-turn, we ended up paying 40B for a toll way and landed on the opposite track from where we came from - Victory Monument. Thanks to 40B toll way. Well, the same thing, went through traffic jam after jams and finally reached our destination at 6pm.

Conclusion to this: Before we left, we prayed so we won't break the Sabbath, even if we reach MBK earlier, we would just stroll for awhile until sunset kicks in, we said. He answered our prayers! Actually, we learned that the above is what we had to pay for not attending church this morning! Thank you Lord for helping us keep the Sabbath in a jam.

ML to BKK

People I'm back to my home sweet home! 2 weeks of intensive classes had somehow changed my daily routine. I had to keep up with time and that includes waking up early, try to stay awake in class, eat 3 times a day, play with Jordan & Chrystal and somehow join them in their main leisure entertainment (computer games)! Here are some pictures from my 2 weeks stay in MC. I wished the two weeks were longer since I really had fun time driving around in this peaceful, solitary town!

Making Almond Jelly with Jordan & Chrystal at 11 something pm (so past their bed time)!Sealed

Look what fun they had in the kitchen...

Jordan stuck to the PC...

Led in song service and rendered two specials (both songs were from Selah's album) last Sabbath. Thanks to J&C who became our official camera boy & girl. I was so inspired by Aunty Ritha's sermon enttitled "Weak but Strong." Good to hear God's message after missing church for a few weeks. Wink

The strange sun phenomena we witnessed. Some call it a sun dog. Dad claimed to have seen one long time ago and some other people claimed to have seen various types but almost similar to this one in other parts of the world. The bunch of wires across the picture was just hubby's way to tell that 'it was for real and this picture is not some sort of a photoshop edit' thing! Laughing

The class finally came to an end and we decided to have lunch together at Klong Ngern Restaurant just a few kilometers away from the college. I must say that this restaurant somehow captivated my taste buds a lot!

A group picture with Lana. Lana is a lecturer in Avondale. I like her classes. Lots of class discussions and group work. The mind is triggered to think, think, think! These are the faces that took the 2nd week Culture class with me. Oh, Waleed is missing from the picture. He was the thorn among the roses this week. Me? I took this picture! Cool

Finally the bidding goodbye to MC! We are coming back next weekend na!
