What happened was as soon as we got home, showered and curled inside the blankies, I got stuck watching a Farah Khan's latest movie Om Shanti Om. I watched 1/4 of the movie alone. Tried to lure Hobbit to join me in but he said he wasn't interested. Then when he was on bed and getting ready to sleep, I pujuk again by giving the plot of the movie. Did I see bling-bling on his eyes?? The plot did get him interested a bit, then more, then we finished watching together! I like it if he sits and watch my type of movies (even when it means to please). He, vice-versa. Funny, both of us felt the aura of the "Phantom" musical while watching. Comment about the movie? Well, I will do it in another blog (kalau rajin). What more, someone has already booked to watch it in school! hahaha!

Too soon I was salivating over Penang laksa when they suddenly informed me that they decided to stop by KL and give my brothers a visit!!! Argggh...Hobbit and I freaked out like skunks! Don't tell me you suddenly plan to come to Bangkok pula...
Last Friday I got a call from my dad and thus the conversation:
Dad: "Mie...Baby...why cannot hear??"
Me: "Ya?? Hello?? Dad! Where are you??"
Dad: "Hehehehhehe...where are you?"
Me: "Well, we are driving to our friend's house, why??"
Dad:"Hehehhehehe...."

Me didn't even have the chance to say "ya", he had quickly passed the phone to my mom and could be heard from the background...

They really know how to enjoy life without us leh! My mom just text-message me again from KK airport that she will straight go to some resort and attend a course while dad heads back home.
Having told Hobbit about my energetic mom, he commented: "CAN YOU BE LIKE YOUR MOM??" What he meant by this I know. It's defined as "can you at least help me with house chores and take things by yourself?"
My answer?? Of course lah a big "NO"!!!
BUT...
I quickly change my answer and said "sometimes can lah..." *wink*
So I am not over with my grief -- not able to take pictures during the "Prince & Princesses" show at school. My kinddies and Primaries were swinging and waving swiftly down the red carpet and dare I missed it!

Then came precious Sabbath. I love Sabbath and last Sabbath evening, had dinner at La Chateau, just next to the school. I actually enjoyed the some of the S'pore tidbits...dried fruits ma...Had the chance to play with baby Le Anne. Too bad, when I carried her she was cranky already. Look...

Can you believe it? Only a few more minutes to Friday. I thought I just had Friday...Looks like time is moving really fast. I started my day in school today talking about printers and cartridges. Yesterday Hobbit and I took our family friends out for lunch. This friends of ours brought along their two years old daughter and their 10 months old son with them. It's funny to see how the parents juggled everything around them while trying to keep their children intact.
Being a two year old and burning with curiosity, our friends' daughter tried to stuff almost everything within her reach into her mouth. Sitting next to me, she saw me opening a mint wrapper and swallowing two mints (ah...burning!). Well, bearing a thought that "candy" was what this Aunty Aims was swallowing, she pointed to the empty wrapper on the table and signaled that she wanted one too! After I sought permission from the parents and hearing an "okay" in one ear from them, and another ear suffering a loud shout and scream from the 2 yr-old, I finally took another wrapper, tore it off, and fed the hungry elf! Now note, whenever she finds the taste of something is good, she will show to all a thumb's up but when it is the opposite...There you go! She gave everyone a thumbs up right after the mint went into her mouth. We were all anticipating...in my mind "scream...scream...scream!" Nah she didn't scream...but all of a sudden her face turned red! LOL! Don't blame us!We are all teachers....*wink*
