The Maid

I'm beginning to doubt the expertise of our current maid. We noticed that she's not as skillful as the old maid that we used to have. She's not really good in ironing our clothes and usually I always end up asking my faithful Hobbit to re-iron them:). I'm also not satisfied with the way she cleans the house, I can see that there are still some spots that she missed. Another thing that I'm not happy about is the way she keeps our clothes. You know how she does it? She just stuffed all of our clothes in one place and does not even bother if they are in the right place or not! It drives me crazy when I found out that she didn't really clean my sparkling white sink thoroughly. I'm going to forget about getting those vessel sinks if she is still around. The one thing that calms me the most is....it doesn't cost us that much to hire her. Maybe I should stick labels of the different sections of where our clothes should be to make sure that she does it right.

Heat and Fans

he temperature now is really getting me wet and soaky with sweat especially at home. I don't know how on earth will we be able to stand the heat without increasing our electricity bills. Now for sure, we don't want to pay costly bills but we just can't stop our fingers from pressing our ac's switch on button. Yes, there's no way to stop this from happening! Sometimes when I'm quite concious, I'd just tell Hobit to bring in the portable desk fan to do the job. But, truthfuly, I despise desk fans or anykinds of fans. You know why do I hate them? Because they'll just fill my tummy with air and later it makes my poor tummy goes ouchy. *sigh* What are we going to do? The other day Hobbit even suggested that we install one of those fancy expensive ceiling fans displayed at the mall. That's a crazy idea:)

Still remember this song? Well, I love the movie and Madonna was just perfect there.

I was browsing through google image today when I stumble upon a stunning scenery...

Iguazu is a must visit place in Argentina. It is a dazzling panorama of Las Cataratas del Iguazu, a spectacular canyon of waterfalls fed by the Iguazu River. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. I imagine myself gazzing at this fall from the camera's eyeview! Oohlala!

So Argentina is a country of contradictions and contrasts. Famous for Patagonian glaciers and its tropical rain forests, also a country of vineyards and waterfalls as well as deserts! I must add this versatile country to one of my must-visit list. For those of you who are interested, visit Argentina Travel and let them plan your visit for you. That way, you save time and pay less. Better still, let me know if you are going or any input of places for me to go when I have the chance to visit. :)

Longing for Old Tunes

Reading about Mesothelioma lawyer! Ah, been practicing a lot of songs lately. Most of the time I'm glued to my honey Medeli trying out different tunes. SML has made me forgot most of the beautiful hymns I used to sing although I do agree that we do sing some hymns in SML just that most of the time the songs are baptized and given new breath! Thus Medeli and I got to try out some of the traditional hard core hymns this evening and it made me  so happy! Old school rocks! :)

39B to 139B Thanks

I went shopping today and bought a box of strawberries which I thought was 39B. A huge price tag was stuck right in front of the little transparent boxes and the hungry me believed that this imported strawberries cost 39B only! So cheap! In went the little box into my shopping cart. Well, I know the difference between imported and not. I was not using my smart shopping head, I was using my tummy and relied on it to do the thinking, didn't even bother to look for a barcode scanner...telling myself "it's cheap because it's locally grown.." I was so right that the very strawberry box was the last one to be checked out. 139B! Calculated therefore PAID.

Checking Seishido, MAC, Nars in Ma Head

After blogging about whitening cream here, I can't help but counter check all my cosmetic products again in my head. From facial cream to bathroom safety products, do they actually work? Are they for real? Is it really worth it? Well, for one in Thailand, I've learned that expensive products can also be a fake one since nowadays anything is imitable! :)

My cousin had asked me to buy her MAC eye shadows and I couldn't help but be fussy about the place I shop and blurting questions after questions about the products. Oh...Sometimes I just wish I could pass things by and not worry about anything. I should just stop being fussy and stop being paranoid about the things I read. Funny! 

This morning as I was getting ready for school, I noticed that my concealer has came down to the last dab! There is no way I could purchase it any time soon since I am saving for something else and all my leisure money has gone into buying stuff for people back home. Yes, I am going home again and no, it is not for the purpose of merely visiting but it's for the school. This concealer will cost me another class from AUP! See, talking about good products...not cheap and I try not to complain.

Food and Good Company

It was another Sabbath at home. After our little worship and a great sermon, Dee and I started our baking session. We baked chicken fillet nuggets and chocolate cake muffins. The nuggets was planned since we marinated the fillets overnight. However, the muffins was unplanned. Dee mentioned that she felt like eating cakes or anything that links with the yummy tiramisu she got for us the night when she came. The whole afternoon was spent baking and eating. We enjoyed our food with Sunday School Musical (a Christian movie). We loved the songs. After a small siesta, we decided to visit King's park close to our place. A lot of energy went to the failed attempts of jumping, cam-whoring and laughing! Hah! The night was spent at Robinson, swimming and more food!!!

Okay, need to go tutor now. Talk about Sunday and work. Urrrgh! Hey, check this Patek Philippe , never heard of this brand before! :)
