posted by: Dee (reply) post date: 05.31.06 (8:31 pm) Sometimes what appears to be the better option doesn't mean it's the best. The best always comes from God. And yes, it is very, very frustrating when we don't know what to do, where to go...isn't it all better if we have a straight, direct answer from above? "Go THERE", "Teach THIS", etc...but then again, we wouldn't be humble with virtues such as patience, praying, etc... I'm sure if you don't feel a strong calling/being strongly impressed (esp. if you prayed, sleep, drink about it), then you're probably on the right track where He wants you to be. :P Aims, TRUST GOD, STOP WORRYING. :P Do the VERY HUMANELY BEST you can do, and give the REST to Him. PS->I'm trying to do that too. Loads of hugs to you! :P posted by: Tina (reply) post date: 06.07.06 (9:03 pm) Finally got the chance to drop in a little longer this time. Anyway, what you said here kinda makes me realize where I stand - being all doubtful. God's will? Yeah it's hard to completely surrender yourself to Him sometimes. It's as if we don't give our complete trust to Him when hey.. He really does know what's best for us. Recognizing that divine voice is another thing. You might ask yourself sometimes, "Hey, am I tuning myself to the right channel?" I guess it all depends on how you view your relationship with God. "Trust God, Stop Worrying" That's something I've got to work on as well. Amy, it's all a matter of trust, following your heart and knowing exactly what to do. Hope that helps a little :) posted by: ammegan (reply) post date: 06.08.06 (7:58 pm) Thanks for that beautiful and powerful encouragement guys. You guys are my source of motivation, really! Thanx Dee & Tina. I'll never forget your advice...Mmmuah! |
