Memory Cards & Thumb Drives
I was surveying about memory cards and thumb drives due to the mass distribution in the market nowadays. Then it struck me about the reliability of these memory cards. Most of the chips are imported from Hong Kong. How reliable are they? Lets talk about thumb drives. Hobbit and I both bought similar thumb drives and has the same capacity of 2G. How ever, his worked perfectly well when hooked to our DVD player and mine does not even get the player to start reading what is on it. Back to memory cards, people claim that some memory cards claim to be as big but really they are not what they claim to be. One person on the net has this claim:In China some supplier use this program to cheat their clients, when you take properties from the computer it show that it's 2GB but as real it's only 512MB, the only easy way to test is copying something near 1.88GB on it. if after 512MB it reported that memory is full then you can be 100% sure that you cheated. What do you think?
